ABSTRACTS
Abstracts will be presented either as oral or poster (printed poster) presentations. Abstracts submitted from Turkey must be prepared in English and the presentations must also be delivered in English. Abstracts from abroad must likewise be written in English, and the presentations should also be delivered in English.

All abstracts should be submitted via e-mail to info@sialendoscopyistanbul.org.
Submitted abstracts will be evaluated for oral or poster presentation.
The deadline for abstract submission is October 31, 2025.
ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE DETAILS
Abstracts will be accepted in the following fields:

During submission, authors must indicate their presentation preference (oral or printed poster) and specify which subspecialty field of ENT–HNS the work belongs to.
The Abstract Committee reserves the right to accept or reject an abstract, and if accepted, to decide on the final presentation format and subspecialty classification according to the content and the number of applications received.
Conditions for Acceptance
- The work must not have been previously presented at any national meeting.
- The work must not have been published in any national or international journal.
- Authors’ full names, academic titles, institutions, and cities must be clearly stated in the designated fields. These details must not appear in the abstract text.
- If the presenting author has left the institution where the work was completed, the institution name should be given as the one where the work was carried out, while the correspondence address should reflect the author’s current institution.
- Contact details (especially e-mail) must be up-to-date and regularly monitored, as all communication including acceptance letters will be conducted via this channel.
- The presenting author must be indicated at submission. As a general principle, oral or poster presentations should preferably be delivered by senior residents or young specialists (within 5 years of specialization) if they are the first authors. A senior expert and/or faculty member should also be present during the presentation or poster discussion session.
Abstract Format
Abstracts must be structured and contain the following sections:
For Research Abstracts:
- Objective
- Materials and Methods
- Results (numerical and/or statistical data)
- Conclusion(s)
- Keywords
For Case Reports:
- Objective
- Case description (complaints, history, clinical and laboratory findings)
- Treatment and prognosis
- Commentary (experience and recommendations)
Case reports must focus on rare and noteworthy cases and should aim to share experience and raise awareness. Abstracts not serving this purpose or not following the structured format will not be accepted.
- Ongoing studies without final results and abstracts missing the above-mentioned sections will not be evaluated.
- Tables or graphics must not be included in abstracts.
ABSTRACT BOOK
All accepted abstracts (oral or poster) will be published in the Congress Abstract Book as a PDF and uploaded to the congress website.
Once accepted, abstracts cannot be withdrawn. Abstracts accepted for presentation but not actually presented will be removed from the abstract book.
ACCEPTANCE LETTER
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated, and a decision will be communicated. For accepted abstracts, an acceptance letter will be sent to the first author in November, specifying whether the presentation has been accepted as oral or poster. Notification letters will also be sent to first authors of rejected abstracts in November.
Please note that if the presenting author does not complete congress registration, the abstract will not be included in the scientific program.
